There are two ways you can dispose of your unwanted or expired propane cylinders. 

1.) Truck them down to our Norwood facility and drop them off. Our Norwood Bottled Gas facility is located at 305 Boston Providence Tpke (south bound side of Rt. 1) in Norwood, MA.

Drop Off Pricing:

• 1 lb (14 oz. - 16 oz) Camping Cylinder: $3.00/ea
• 4.5 lb - 40 lb cylinder (grill tank): FREE ($5.00 without valve)
• 60 lb - 100 lb cylinder: $20.00/ea

2.) Schedule a pick-up at your location.

Pick-Up Pricing

• 1 lb (16 oz) Camping Cylinder: $3.00/ea
• 4 lb - 40 lb cylinder (grill tank): $2.00/ea ($5.00 without valve)
• 60 lb -100 lb propane tanks: $20.00/ea 
• Min. Trip Charge $190.00
• Labor $90.00 per hour (1 hr min.)

We DO NOT accept any cylinders that are not propane. This includes helium, acetelyne, fire extinguishers, oxygen, CO2 or any other type of cylinder that is not propane. We ONLY dispose of propane tanks.
